2010 BC Green Games Winners Announced
The annual BC Green Games, hosted by Science World of British Columbia and BC Hydro, has just announced this year's winning BC schools. There were 94 entries from 32 school districts around the province this year, all vying for a share of the $22500 prize money available. A panel of provincial environmental experts chose the winning school greening project entries, and additional viewer's choice awards were also given out based on online voting.
The BC Green Games are designed to motivate action, enable sharing, and reward and celebrate the green efforts of schools in BC. To view the 2010 winning projects, visit: http://2010.bcgreengames.ca/gallery/the-winners.html
