Teams will work together to design and contribute to collaborative action plans for sustainability education that will support BC’s public institutions in reaching the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Targets of 2010. Follow up events throughout the summer and fall will support the momentum of the teams.
We aim to build a cohesive movement for sustainability education in BC.
Why, What, and How: BC’s Greenhouse Gas Reductions Targets Act (GGRTA)
➢ Collaborate and make plans for achieving GGRTA requirements
➢ Learn about BC’s best practices for addressing GGRTA, climate change, and sustainability education
➢ Generate new creative solutions to collective problems
Sustaining Success
➢ Build capacity for BC’s sustainability education movement
➢ Build relationships and strategic partnerships to ensure long term solutions
➢ Develop champions for sustainability education in BC
Registration - includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and networking
Youth/Students $25.00
General participants (individuals, businesses, organizations, government) - sliding scale of $50 to $150
