Important Information for Participants

Bring your own coffee mug/cup and plate/container for the day. We will arrange for your dishes to be washed between meals. Don’t worry about cutlery as this will be provided, as will 100% post-consumer waste napkins. Grease pens will be provided so you can write your name on your mug/cup and plate/container.

Please bring your own name badge from a previous conference, however if you forget or don’t have one, we will have available at the registration area recycled name badges for you to get creative with and create one for the day.

Please bring your own notepad - new notepads will not be provided at the Summit; we will also provide previously used, one-sided paper with which you can create your own notepad.

•There will be only one garbage can… in a prominent, highly visual place. We will weigh the garbage can after the event to see how little waste we produced.

Dress is casual - think clothing you can do yoga in!

•We have included in the agenda a Wellness Activity Break. We will have someone to lead us through a ½ hour yoga session, or invite you to take a ½ hour stroll or bike ride along the Sea Wall to re-energize your mind and spirit.

Share your sustainability education resources. A table will be provided for small sized promotional materials from your organization, government office, K-12 school, post-secondary institution or business. Be prepared to leave no footprints by taking all remaining materials with you when you leave.

•Enjoy, share your stories and help us to build a collaborative movement for sustainability education in BC.

•If you have not already filled out our survey please do so at http://websurvey.sfu.ca/survey/32551879 It takes approximately ten minutes and you can enter into a draw at the end for a $100 gift certificate to Chapters/Indigo.
