Rivers to Oceans Week
Rivers To Oceans Week June 8 - 14 2008, a program of the Canadian Wildlife Federation!
As Canadians, we are blessed with a great abundance of water. Yet, how often do we think about the seldom-seen world living beneath the surface of our many lakes, rivers and oceans, which depends on an unspoiled supply of water? How often do we consider the effects of our activities on hidden aquatic neighbours who are equal stakeholders in our watery wealth? The Canadian Wildlife Federation and its partners would like the answer to be, “Always.”
Join us for an amazing learning adventure in the mysterious world of watery ecosystems and their associated wildlife. Learn how we can better protect these precious resources. Endless opportunities for exploration open up when we take a close look to discover the fascinating world beneath the water’s surface. Explore the ROW website for more details, including information on the free teachers’ guide!
