How Sustainability Education? A Solutions Summit
Monday, April 27, 2009 at 8:00 AM
Are you too busy and working beyond capacity trying to make a positive impact? How can we work together to create a movement for sustainability education in BC?
The Summit will be a day for folks to self identify as champions,
learners or advocates and find others who can mentor, support and nourish each others ideas, answer each others questions, and discover and develop shared visions, goals and solutions.
A day for building momentum and
strategic partnerships to move forward.
In BC we have leading legislation to confront climate change and there is a vast diversity in specific needs across region, institution,
sector, and population and so few dollars to be shared in supporting
sustainability education. Wouldn’t it be great to have a team to call
upon to help us in our search for solutions?
We know WHY we need to do it,
now let’s focus on HOW.
This is our attempt to create the 'UNCONFERENCE'...to walkthetalk of sustainability education in a day long session that is designed as an event that imagines ALL of the participants as current and future change agents.
Please join us on April 27 at the Roundhouse in Vancouver as we host a day created to build momentum for a cohesive movement for
sustainability education in BC.
