International Walk to School Week
HASTE (the Hub for Action on School Transportation) and DASH (the Directorate of Agencies for
School Health) BC are inviting schools province-wide to participate in International Walk to School Week to promote and celebrate the many benefits of walking. Register your school by June
30 to be eligible for early bird prize packages. All
registered schools will receive information and practical planning resources in
early September to help them plan an iWalk event that works for their own
school community. International Walk to School Week in BC is supported by
our partners Action Schools! BC, and Physical
Education – British Columbia.
For more information, and to sign your school up for this year's event, please
visit the DASH BC website at www.dashbc.org.
