Inspiring Solutions to Climate Change
Global Habitat Festival is a Friends of Live Earth outdoor music festival in Vancouver on July 7, 2007.
The event will feature live music, art, an eco-village and live coverage of the monumental global event Live Earth.
Canon National Parks Science Scholarship
A new scholarship program, 2007 Canon National Parks Science Scholarship is currently being offered through a collaboration of Canon, AAAS, and the US National Park Service. The scholarship will award eight US$80,000 scholarships to Ph.D.
VOICES FOR SUSTAINABILITY: Weekend Symposium for Educators
A catalytic event for educators from schools, local government, small business or the faith communities that have been moved by the 'sustainability imperative' and are looking to share their success stories and learn from others. Takes place at Sea to Sky Outdoor School on Keats Island. Voyager canoe, forest solitude, polar dips off bedrock waterfront and short hikes to big views will be sprinkled throughout the weekend conversations. A family friendly event.
